Each suite has two distinct areas to it. One inside the building that is heated/air conditioned.  This is where your dog has his food and water and bed and towels.  This has an opening to an outside area we call the patio area.  It is very much like a covered porch or patio and your dog goes out on it through a clear soft plastic doggie door.  Even for dogs that prefer not to go on their patios the doggie door serves as a window to look out, and give a natural light into their boarding area.

 There is also a sliding door in each suite that prevents access to the patio when necessary.  This door is kept closed at night, during storms, when the outside temperature is below 50 degrees or above 90 degrees.
