There are no set standards in naming a dog boarding facility. A boarding facility can call itself any of the mentioned names and they can range from keeping your dog in a crate to having your dog stay in  private doggie cottage.   We call ourselves a “Dog Resort” because our guests stay in a suite, have lots of out door time, and we have professional attendants caring for their every need all day long.
